Are yours in pots? Mine was not at all happy this year. He either needs a bigger pot, or summers in the ground.
'Charles Grimaldi'is a wonderful Brugmansia with the very long trumpets and the pigtail curlicues. We used to have a lot of various Brugmansias in big tubs, but as we wanted to slow down the number of pots to bring into the greenhouse in winter and we don't want to heat our greenhouse more than our home anymore, we sold them to Brugmansia lovers. I suppose you have a heated greenhouse....
I wish my Brugmansia performed half as well as yours, Alison!
Wonderful! Tom moved his big Brug into the greenhouse last week.
No brugs here, but I do so admire them in other people's gardens. I have no place to overwinter them here. You have a beautiful plant there, Alison!
Love the little pigtail curl too ♥
Sweet! I dragged mine inside before it was necessary, especially since this fall has been so warm.
Gardening is a solitary activity. But blogging about it is a social phenomenon! I don't make money from my blog by advertising, or use it to drive customers to a business. If you liked my post, or my writing or photography, or even just one picture or turn of phrase, I'd love to hear from you. That's how I get paid.
