December Photo Project 2012 -- Day Five

The bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle. I won't burden you with a Youtube link to Perry Como singing the theme from Here Come the Brides.

I couldn't resist turning the camera skyward. So, here ya go -- an iconic PNW Douglas fir and the bluest skies.

Are there any Bobby Sherman fans out there? I was one, God help me.

  1. Bobby Sherman was dreamy! Never missed Here come the Brides. I think that the skies only seem so blue here because that color is so seldom seen. We can grow blue poppies to make up for it though.

  2. Hahhaha, are we all showing our age? Loved Here Come the Brides. Can't think of Seattle without singing the song in my head...just like the Dallas theme when I am driving by Dallas.

  3. Nature knew what she was doing when she got out her sky blue and spruce green crayons!

My best plant pictures are the ones I take pointed toward the sky.
