Have you heard of the December Photo Project, sponsored by the blog View From The Prairie Box? To participate, you take one photo each day for the first 25 days of December and post it to your blog. To learn more about exactly how to take part, go to the link.
Last month I considered participating in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), but I was pretty sure I couldn't write that many words a day. I suppose I could have tried finishing the short story I started a few months ago, but I just couldn't get excited about that. Maybe some day.
I'm going to try and post a picture a day. They might not all have to do with the garden, because in this climate that will mean going out in the cold rain to take photos. I figure my problem will be two-fold: either choosing which picture to post, when I take lots, or finding one worthy to post out of the many I take. Then of course there is the temptation to just grab one out of the backlog that I've never posted. Given that I often get sick at the holidays (and actually have been suffering from a cold for the last couple of days), that is a very real possibility. I'm going to keep my old pictures in a back pocket, just in case. Is that cheating? Well, Boo. Or maybe I'll just post lots of photos of lattes. Or food. Or my feet. Or my cats. Or a picture of the book I'm currently reading (I read a lot).
Anyway, watch this space.
Since it's already December 2, I'm going to post two today, to catch up. One I took yesterday, and one I took today.
