Wednesday Vignette

In last week's Wednesday Vignette post, I promised pictures of wet plants, but didn't deliver. Here they are today (some of them anyway). Water droplets improve just about everything, but we are currently having an entire week of lashing wind and rain, and very dark days -- the kind of days where you need to leave the lights on all day long.

My pictures today are of one last Magnolia macrophylla leaf, hanging on as of last week, but after our crazy weather, it might have dropped to the ground by now.

Anna at Flutter and Hum hosts Wednesday Vignette.  Check out today's post here.

  1. Beautiful Alison. Some of those drops are gravity defying.

  2. Oh, I LOVE those massive leaves - especially the bluish sheen on their undersides. They look fantastic with all the sparkles!

  3. Rain, like frost, makes pretty pictures. I'm sorry Mother Nature is going overboard up there. Please tell her that it's time to send some of that rain further south.

Gardening is a solitary activity. But blogging about it is a social phenomenon! I don't make money from my blog by advertising, or use it to drive customers to a business. If you liked my post, or my writing or photography, or even just one picture or turn of phrase, I'd love to hear from you. That's how I get paid.
