  1. So pretty! And I bet they're tasty too.

  2. The leaves are as interesting as the flowers. Great colors.

I always forget to plant these at the right time. They are not summer flowers here.

  3. Don't you just love the variety of colors and patterns on self-sown nasturtiums?

  4. Some of my favorites, Alison. Thank you for the gorgeous colors on this drab day....

  5. Already?! Those plants must have had an early start.

  6. I planted nasturtiums for the first time in my containers in sun. I love the taste of the leaves - peppery like watercress. I hear that if the soil is not lean they will not bloom - is that your experience?

  7. Nice photos! Ever eaten green seeds? They're the hottest part of the plant. I used to like tricking people into eating them.

  8. Nice, spicy accent in salads, too.

  9. Gorgeous colours. Do you find that they get attacked by caterpillars? Cabbage Whites seem to love them here when they get a bit bored with the brassicas.

Gardening is a solitary activity. But blogging about it is a social phenomenon! I don't make money from my blog by advertising, or use it to drive customers to a business. If you liked my post, or my writing or photography, or even just one picture or turn of phrase, I'd love to hear from you. That's how I get paid.
