Garden Bloggers Bloom Day -- May 2016

A combination of laziness and feeling like crap has made me late for Bloom Day. It's more work than I'm willing to do to post pictures of everything that's currently blooming, so here are some pics of Alliums, Columbines and Peonies.

This poor thing was face down in the dirt after our weekend of rain

Carol at May Dreams Gardens hosts Garden Bloggers Bloom Day. Check out her post here.

Hope you have an abundance of flowery riches in your garden!

  2. how is it that not even cancer has slowed me down enough to get my blog written. is that pale pink in umbels, second flower from the top a sort of allium? what is it? my first ever peony plant began to bloom on mothers day. now the plant, in a huge pot, is all flopping over after some heavy rains. why is it doing that? hope you feel better.

  4. Beautiful flowers Alison! I've been thinking of you. First you send down so many plants with Peter for the swap, then I see on his blog that you got rid of your Tilandsia. And now more mention of not feeling well...I really do hope you're doing better soon! I miss your blog posts and glimpses of what you're up to in your garden.

  5. I know...a full account of all that's blooming now would be unwieldy at best. You picked some winners to feature here. Hope they have some healing power as well.

Gardening is a solitary activity. But blogging about it is a social phenomenon! I don't make money from my blog by advertising, or use it to drive customers to a business. If you liked my post, or my writing or photography, or even just one picture or turn of phrase, I'd love to hear from you. That's how I get paid.
