One Perfect Torch Lily

I seldom see these flowers when they are at their peak of perfection like this. Somehow I managed to capture this one in my garden when the bottom was just opening and not all dried up and gray.

  2. An indication that you visit your garden often, when you 'catch' perfection.

  3. Alison, I've been away from blogging for far too long.....I've missed so many of your recent posts and can't wait to catch up on them. Things here have been very, very hectic but one day I vow to catch up with everything that needs doing. I love this photo and just had to stop in and say a quick hi so you'll know I'm still around and thinking of you!

  6. Great picture. I find the other common name for this plant, red hot poker, oddly intimidating.

Gardening is a solitary activity. But blogging about it is a social phenomenon! I don't make money from my blog by advertising, or use it to drive customers to a business. If you liked my post, or my writing or photography, or even just one picture or turn of phrase, I'd love to hear from you. That's how I get paid.
