A hummingbird! How gorgeous and how clever of you to have captured it sipping nectar from your flowers! I understand they are very hard to photograph in general, but especially while they are hovering.
I spy it too. Along with a whole lotta pretty flowers.
So cute! And how on earth did you catch them, more than once!, and not have them be a blur? Your gardens look lovely too.
Those little guys are super speedy. Great photos!
How exciting!! We had one in May, but they probably won't start being visible until September, when the flowers are less.
I am so happy for you! I so look forward to the first hummingbird. Great photos. Those little buggers are fast. Thanks for lifting my spirits.
Love the top of your waterfall now, it's grown up well! I've seen a hummingbird on my cardinal flowers (which are placed in the stream) but haven't yet captured one with the camera just yet. Thanks for letting me know how well the Lobelia cardinalis will do in the stream. They are loving it;-)
Gardening is a solitary activity. But blogging about it is a social phenomenon! I don't make money from my blog by advertising, or use it to drive customers to a business. If you liked my post, or my writing or photography, or even just one picture or turn of phrase, I'd love to hear from you. That's how I get paid.
