  1. Lovely photograph, Alison! The green of the leaf with its pale yellow veins contrasts well against the richly coloured, earthy background. The water droplets on the leaves give a jewel-like quality.

I do not recognise or know the plant.

  2. Very pretty! We sure have lots of things with raindrops around right now don't we? :)

  4. Is it arum italicum? Beautiful marbled leaves! I got one from a friend recently. I want it spread all over the place!Well not all over, but in places where other plants don't grow. I am wondering how is your new composter doing?

  6. I was wondering if it's arum, also. Merry Christmas! It's been good here so far, but slick on the sidewalks. Tomorrow, we have brunch at my son's house with my husband's family.

Gardening is a solitary activity. But blogging about it is a social phenomenon! I don't make money from my blog by advertising, or use it to drive customers to a business. If you liked my post, or my writing or photography, or even just one picture or turn of phrase, I'd love to hear from you. That's how I get paid.
