Timber Press Giveaway

To celebrate the publication of their new book Concrete Garden Projects, Timber Press is hosting a giveaway!

Go to the link above and enter your email address, and you could win a copy of the new book, a $25 gift certificate to Home Depot, and a set of foam rubber molds for making numbers in concrete.

While you're there, check out the video that shows how to use the molds for making a set of house numbers. And there's a link to instructions for how to make tealight candle holders using silicone cupcake molds.

Concrete is a great medium for making garden ornaments. Especially if, like me, you remember how much fun it was when you were a kid to play in the mud!

The contest runs until October 21. Check it out!

  1. Hi Alison, Concrete is great stuff, for sure. It lasts forever. This looks like a great book. Thanks for the heads up.

  2. Alison, great book, I'm having so much fun playing with concrete here, too, lol.

Thanks for the words of encouragement over at my blog. I'm such a gloomy gus right now!

It's raining here and windy and just plain yucky. I'm not sure which disaster to tackle first, but I guess, like Mom always said, 'just do what's in front of you'. Dishes. Sigh.

Gardening is a solitary activity. But blogging about it is a social phenomenon! I don't make money from my blog by advertising, or use it to drive customers to a business. If you liked my post, or my writing or photography, or even just one picture or turn of phrase, I'd love to hear from you. That's how I get paid.
