Wednesday Vignette

It's been a while since I've participated in this meme. I thought I'd dredge some photos up from last summer, from a garden I visited that was open for the Northwest Perennial Alliance (NPA). These images are from the garden of Harriet Herschel.

I plan in future posts to share more in-depth photos from last summer's garden tours. I hope for now you can be content with these images of paving stones from Harriet's driveway. I love little touches like this that give a garden character.

Anna at Flutter & Hum hosts Wednesday Vignette, check out her post here.

  3. I love mosaic walkways. The garden of my dreams would have one, and possibly mosaic inlays in the patio too.

  4. Sweet and charming details. The shadows on the path tell us it's summer, too.

  5. It's all about the details! I like how the gardener's done simple things here, but they add much. Look forward to more of your NPA garden visits.

Gardening is a solitary activity. But blogging about it is a social phenomenon! I don't make money from my blog by advertising, or use it to drive customers to a business. If you liked my post, or my writing or photography, or even just one picture or turn of phrase, I'd love to hear from you. That's how I get paid.
