Foliage Followup -- April, 2015

There is an abundance of foliage showing up in all its luscious voluptuousness at this time of year. I was very relieved to see the Veratrum californicum and the Embothrium. I wasn't convinced that they had survived being planted last summer right around the time of the big heat wave in July, but apparently they did.

From outside, the Verbascum olympicum looks like a felty cabbage
