The garden right now is such a riot of flower color, it's hard to get a shot without flowers in it. I have to get in pretty close. But I got a few. Excuse those flower floozies who are so desperate for attention that they can't help photobombing.

| Remember all the lime flowers I had on my lime tree a few months ago while it was still in the greenhouse? I have one tiny lime still left on it. I need to do something about its chlorotic leaves (repot and give it some fertilizer). |

| Technically not foliage, the seedheads of Geum triflorum (Prairie Smoke) are very photogenic. |

| Iris 'Gerald Darby' and Cryptotaenia japonica Atropurpurea (Purple Japanese parsley) makes a much nicer color echo early in the season when the Iris leaves still have some purple in them |
Speaking of photobombers, did you notice my little bug friend in the lower right hand corner? I've tentatively identified it as a bordered plant bug called
Largus californicus, and according to the website I linked to, it does feed on plants, but is not considered of economic importance (which I've taken to mean it's not going to take over my garden and eat everything down to nubs.)
