Don't be fooled. Inside this thin coating of sweetness is a fiery core of total insanity.

December Photo Project 2012 -- Day Twenty-Five

It's a White Christmas here in Massachusetts! A light dusting of snow fell overnight, with still just a little bit more sifting down, like confectioner's sugar onto a Christmas dessert. Looks like none of it has stuck to the roads, so driving should not be affected. I took some photos of the landscaping outside our
hotel. We got word that our son had put the bird in and that Christmas dinner is on the way! We'll venture out in a couple of hours.

Nigel commented on one of our first days here that the trees here are so short! And bare. It's interesting how artificial the row of evergreens in the hotel parking lot looks, when you're used to the real thing.

Today, Christmas Day, is the last day of the December Photo Project. I'd like to thank everyone who came along with me on this photographic exercise. I enjoyed it and I hope you did too. It was a learning experience for me. I discovered some tips on how to improve my composition, and also some tricks in iPhoto to boost color.

Merry Christmas to all my readers and blogging friends! I hope you all have a wonderful day full of great food, good friends and family and good cheer!
