The Bloedel Reserve Part II

I'm not sure what more I have to say about the Bloedel Reserve, so for the most part, I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.

More of the Moss Garden -- the moss made such a beautiful carpet, when the sun was shining on it, it was electric!

The roots of a tree that fell and was left where it lay

The Woodland Garden
Waterfall near the house, at the beginning of the path

Everywhere on the woodland walk, you could either hear the stream, or catch a glimpse of it through the trees.

Every tree trunk or stump had a cluster of plants at its base.

The Japanese Garden (my one and only picture -- of rocks)

I thought this couple sitting by the water made an interesting subject -- I wasn't close enough to eavesdrop.

Thanks to everyone for all the lovely comments on my previous post about the Bloedel Reserve. I hope I'm not pushing my luck posting more!
